CUSTOM WEDDING SUITES

Before you inquire, please review the below information regarding process and investment.

investment

Custom wedding suites begin at $2,250 for a 3-piece suite of 100 (includes primary invitation with envelopes, details card, and RSVP card with envelopes) and the average Grace Paper Collective couple spends $3,000-$4,000 on their custom invitations. Pricing varies depending on quantity, paper and printing processes such as handmade paper or letterpress and metallic foil printing. Other price factors include additional embellishments such as maps, envelope liners, wax seals, vintage postage, venue illustrations, and any other fun extras we dream up!

 

The beauty of this investment is that everything is completely custom - think of it like buying your very own piece of art that no one else will ever have or have seen before...

lead time

The entire custom invitation process takes a minimum of 4 months from deposit to delivery. I recommend reaching out 6 months in advance when possible (8 months in advance if including custom Save the Dates). When in doubt...the sooner, the better! More time gives us ample room to source and design with the highest quality materials for your suite!

process

I like to refer to the entire custom wedding suite design process as the Great Eight 😎because it is an 8 step journey....

  • medium & materials
    House and venue portraits are available in two mediums: watercolor and pen and ink. Watercolor portraits are painted on premium cold-pressed watercolor paper and are finished off with small pen and ink details. Pen and ink portraits are hand drawn on archival quality drawing paper.
  • sizes & investment
    Pricing for house and venue portraits fluctuates depending on the detail and style of the piece and the size that you were hoping for. Buildings with certain architectural elements (such as picket railings or large areas of natural stone or brick) can be much more labor-intensive and will, therefore, come at a higher price point. As a baseline, prices for house and venue portraits start as follows: 5"x7" Watercolor: from $300 Pen & Ink: from $175 8"x10" Watercolor: from $750 Pen & Ink: from $350 11"x14" Watercolor: from $1,500 Pen & Ink: from $625 *prices include shipping but not tax
  • turnaround time & process
    As a general rule of thumb, custom commissions have a 4-8 week turn around time from start to doorstep. Upon inquiry, please provide the date you were hoping to have the piece in hand so we can discuss current availability and rush options were you to need it sooner. Process: Inquire here! Booking: I will be back in touch within 2-3 business days with a custom proposal along with your contract and invoice. All that is required to secure your booking is a non-refundable 50% retainer which covers material costs and securing your space in my workload. Once your contract is signed and retainer is paid, your project will be reserved on my calendar. Sketch Proof: You will recieve a pencil sketch to approve before any painting or inking begins - approximately halfway through the span of your project's timeline. Final Proof & Shipping: Your remaining 50% balance will be due upon the receipt of your final proof, prior to shipping.
