CUSTOM WEDDING SUITES
I'm so excited to hear more about what you're envisioning for your wedding invitations!
Before you inquire, please review the below information regarding process and investment.
investment
Custom wedding suites begin at $2,250 for a 3-piece suite of 100 (includes primary invitation with envelopes, details card, and RSVP card with envelopes) and the average Grace Paper Collective couple spends $3,000-$4,000 on their custom invitations. Pricing varies depending on quantity, paper and printing processes such as handmade paper or letterpress and metallic foil printing. Other price factors include additional embellishments such as maps, envelope liners, wax seals, vintage postage, venue illustrations, and any other fun extras we dream up!
The beauty of this investment is that everything is completely custom - think of it like buying your very own piece of art that no one else will ever have or have seen before...
lead time
The entire custom invitation process takes a minimum of 3 months from deposit to delivery. I recommend reaching out 6 months in advance when possible (8 months in advance if including custom Save the Dates). When in doubt...the sooner, the better! More time gives us ample room to source and design with the highest quality materials for your suite!
process
I like to refer to the entire custom wedding suite design process as the Great Eight 😎because it is an 8 step journey....
step two : coffee date
step one : consultation and booking
After you've reviewed the process, please head here to book an introductory call with me to discuss everything you're hoping for with your invitations! You'll recieve an introductory questionnaire to fill out before we hop on our call and after we chat, I will send through an initial quote.
step three : lookbook
After our initial visit, I will dive head first into dreaming about these invites with you and sketching. You will then receive a personalized lookbook with inspiration, your color palette, typeface options, and (rough) concept sketches of each piece in your suite. You may even have some design options to choose from (ie. different crest variations or envelope liner designs)! You will give me feedback to make sure I am heading in the right direction.
step four : design time
step five : revisions
You will review the proofs and give me feedback and revisions. Changes to color, typefaces, layouts, etc. are all hashed out in this secondary proofing stage. We repeat this design and revision process until we get your invitation suite to the point that you want to show everyone before they even hit the mail!
step six : production
Once designs are finalized, we will make sure everything is correct and you will be asked to sign a final approval/print release form. Once this is signed and your remaining balance is paid in full, your suite will move into production. Production can take 1-4 weeks depending on your chosen print method. Letterpress and foil take longer than digital.
step seven : delivery
Once all pieces are completed and in my hands, I will then ship or drop the pieces off to you for assembly. Should you prefer I assemble your suites for mailing, I also offer assembly and mailing services for an additional fee of $1/invitation.
step eight : day of details
Once we have completely moved through the custom invitation process, we will move into the design and production phase for any applicable "day-of" details such as programs, welcome signs, menus, etc. by moving through an amended (less-extensive) version of these steps!
