MEET GRACIE

Hey there, pal! I'm so glad you've found your way to my corner of the interweb. For as long as I can remember...I've been a creator. Growing up, my parents encouraged me to pursue art since my first class in the 2nd grade. Flash forward about 20 years...through a bachelor's degree in graphic design, calling 4 different countries home, and the Best of Otis Redding on repeat in the background - here we are!

I was born and raised on the acreage of incredible food, two steppin' tunes, and bayou sunsets that is Lafayette, Louisiana and that's just where I and GPC reside today...in the heart of Cajun country.

You can dive into more about Grace Paper Collective here but at the core - through all the journeys being an artist has taken me on - two things have remained constant in my venture through different mediums...from traditional painting to modern design. Those are my undeniable love for pieces and projects that bring memories to life and my determination to use as many pieces as possible towards making a difference in this world we call home.

the dream

My dad always had one motto.

DREAM BIG AND MAKE 'EM HAPPEN...

So this dream I had started to grow. What if more gifts people purchased for a loved one had a way to benefit the greater good? When I started selling prints of my artwork a few years back - I decided to give that theory a test run. Ever since that day, we've been donating 10% of the sale of prints back to various non- profit organizations that support a range of causes.

And penny by penny those small 10 percents have added up and up. Over the course of the time I've been on this mission we've been able to donate over $4,000 to various organizations like St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, The United Way of South Louisiana in wake of the catastrophic floods in 2016, artistrelief.org in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and many more! Small percents making one heck of a big difference.

It's then that grace paper collective's dream became for every gift to give back. I hope you'll join in with me!

CAUSES WE LOVE

Painting your grandmother's house, your beloved family pup, or the church you got married in....designing the logo for your livelihood...

Those are the things I love to create. Freezing the memories that make your heart skip a beat...those are the ones I want to get to know.
